Ty
Automation was formed in 1995 by 2 former senior field engineers
from the General Regulator Corporation, a company with over 70
years of experience in the field of marine and industrial automation.
Our business goal was the continued service and repair of not
only systems provided by General Regulator, but also control systems
and instrumentation of various manufacturers, among them Baily,
Hagan, Moore Products, Rosemont and Leslie. We have also established
a full service machine shop in order to support peripheral equipment,
such as control valves, relief valves, manifolds and other devices
associated with plant operation, we also maintain capabilities
for gauge, thermometer and meter calibration, with standards traceable
to the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Our experience
includes the inspection and test of various high pressure air
systems and components, both visual (boroscope) and hydrostatic.
Currently we are developing software programs, utilizing Siemens
Moore (iconfig) software in conjunction with Siemens Moore 353
PAC Process Controllers and their Procidia line, to develop compact
and economical upgrades for small to medium sized process control
requirements, among these, small package boiler control and burner
management, alarm & process monitoring and plant auxiliary
control systems. We have also developed and manufactured replacement
circuit boards and analog power supplies for General Regulators
solid state 15 pin line. We also developed and manufactured a
new solid state primary relay panel for General Regulators N-51
marine combustion control unit. This panel directly replaces both
the model 3864 and 34393 units. Currently we are staffed to provide
over 60 years of comprehensive experience in the field of marine
and industrial automation.
